With over 43 years of teaching experience, Julie Valentine has worked with tens of thousands of students in the San Francisco Bay Area. As students have left the area to pursue professional careers in New York, Los Angeles and Europe - or simply moved on to college - Julie has continued to work with them online using Zoom, Skype and FaceTime. Long before COVID struck, Julie was comfortable with this teaching method and continues offer online lessons to students all over the world. In order to have online lessons, you will need a computer equipped with a camera and speakers and the Zoom, or Skype software or an iPhone with FaceTime. If you are taking voice lessons, you will also need a way to play digital accompaniments - either on the same computer you're using to Zoom or Skype, or on a separate device such as a phone, an iPad or another computer. That's it! Online lessons may be scheduled for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Whether in person or online, Julie provides a fun, supportive environment in which to grow as an artist.
